Keith takes up the challenge

Birmingham IA member Keith Kightley is taking part in the London Half-Marathon on 7th April – less than 3 months away – to raise funds for IA. We are so impressed that he has stepped up for this challenge!

Keith joined Birmingham IA in December '22 following surgery for cancer and has since attended many of our local events, including the recent Solihull Festive Lunch. When he saw the National IA advert asking for London marathon runners, he quickly volunteered his services. He says that he will be ‘walking’ the route, but as you can see in the photos, he is obviously training hard for this event!

It would be great if other Birmingham IA members could donate to the monies being raised by Keith for IA. The link to his Just Giving page is below and it’s very easy to do. Any amount, however small, would help IA, and you can give anonymously if you wish to do so.

Thanks so much for your help with this.

And if any other Birmingham IA members have responded to the call to run the London half- marathon, please just let us know!
